In 2021, NHT has a number of exciting new job opportunities in inclusive sport and recreation coming up!

The  roles we are currently recruiting for are Lead Regional Sport & Recreation Co-ordinator, Operations Lead (the job application process for these full-time roles is via Expressions of Interest), part-time Regional Sport & Recreation Coordinators (for the South, North and North West), and a part-time Assistant Sport & Recreation Coordinator on the North West.

 

NHT Lead Regional Sport & Recreation Co-ordinator (FT)

Location: Any location in Tasmania. Remote work opportunities available.

The Lead Regional Coordinator will plan, develop and implement inclusive sport and recreation programs in regional areas of Tasmania.They will work in a highly collaborative manner, with a great deal of day-to-day autonomy, as part of the senior management team of the organisation.

NHT Operations Lead (FT)

Location: Preferred Northern Tasmania. Remote work opportunities available.

As a member of the NHT management team, the Operations Lead will have operational oversight of the organisation’s administrative, policy and program delivery activities. Through a highly collaborative approach, the Operations Lead will provide support to the CEO in ensuring NHT is achieving its strategic direction. The role will plan, organise, monitor and report on program activities, and ensure procedures and policies align with governance and compliance requirements.

NHT Regional Sport & Recreation Coordinators  (PT)

Location: South, North and North West.

One of a team of three Regional Coordinators, reporting to the Lead Regional Coordinator, this role will plan, develop and implement inclusive sport and recreation programs in their allocated region of Tasmania.

NHT Assistant Regional Co-ordinator, North West    (PT)  *please note, this role is for applicants with lived experience of disability.

Location: North-West Coast region

The Assistant Regional Coordinator will bring a vital link of lived disability experience to New Horizons Tasmania’s planning and execution of programs.  Day-to-day, this role will support the North West Regional Coordinator and the Lead Coordinator in planning, developing and implementing inclusive sport and recreation programs.
