POSITIONS VACANT

COMMUNICATIONS & MARKETING COORDINATOR | Part-Time | Hours negotiable | Min 20hrs per week with the opportunity for up to 30hrs (skills dependent)

The opportunity:

A terrific part-time opportunity has become available at New Horizons Tasmania — the state’s leading provider of sport and recreation programs for people with disability — for a highly engaged Communications and Marketing Coordinator.

You will play a critical role in developing and executing our communication and marketing strategies, as well as supporting the CEO and regional sport coordinators with their ad-hoc communication and marketing requirements.

Your ultimate goal will be to continue to increase awareness, engagement, and support (financial, in-kind and volunteering) for our small but mighty organisation.

In return you’ll enjoy a competitive salary, unmatched flexibility, a great team environment and fulfilment from knowing you are helping to change lives and build a more inclusive community by ensuring more Tasmanians with disability can access the many benefits of participating in sport and recreation.

Location: While being primarily situated at our Northern Tasmanian office (Launceston) would be a bonus, we are open to looking at applications located around the State.

Position Description: For essential information about this role, including Role Responsibilities and Skills Required, please read the NHT Position Description – Comms Marketing 2024 here.

To Apply: Please submit a cover letter addressing the position requirements and your CV via the Seek platform, or email to Belinda at CEO@newhorizonstas.org.au

*Applications close 2nd February 2024
