At New Horizons Tasmania, we believe that leading a healthy, active life and having access to sport and recreation should be a right, not a luxury. Our mission is to ensure that every Tasmanian, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to participate, be included, and thrive through physical activity and social engagement. We are dedicated to building a community where everyone feels welcome and valued. Inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do.
By providing a variety of programs, we encourage individuals of all abilities to get out there, set goals, stay active, and form meaningful connections along the way. New Horizons Tasmania collaborates with local, state, and national sporting bodies, as well as government agencies, to offer top-notch inclusive sport and recreation programs. We focus on ability rather than disability, fostering an environment where members can explore new activities at their own pace.
If you’re a sports enthusiast with a desire to give back, we’d love to hear from you. As a grassroots organisation, we rely on the generosity of our community to sustain our programs. Your donations enable us to make a significant impact in the lives of many Tasmanians.
