At New Horizons Tasmania we believe EVERY Tasmanian should be given the opportunity to participate. To be included. To increase physical and overall well-being by ‘getting out there’, setting goals, keeping active – and making great friends along the way.

New Horizons work with local, state and national sporting bodies as well as government to offer the very best inclusive sport and rec programs and pathways for Tasmanians with disability. You’ll notice though, that we don’t really talk about disability much. This is because New Horizons is about ability. It’s about embracing new and dynamic activities at a person’s own pace – and from here, great things grow.

We are seeking two new members to further expand our skills base as a Board. New Horizons Tasmania are seeking committed and values driven people to bolster our commitment to positive and effective governance, particularly while we navigate a period of state-wide growth and funding change. We encourage young people and people with lived experience of disability to apply.
