Paris is the Senior Philanthropy Manager in the College of Health and Medicine (which includes the Menzies Institute for Medical Research and the Wicking Dementia and Research Centre). Prior to her career in philanthropy, she was an established marketing, communications and public relations professional in NSW and overseas. She has lived in the North-West of Tasmania for several years and has recently moved to Hobart. Her connection to the sector is personal – growing up, she witnessed her uncle develop confidence, independence and a strong sense of purpose through an organisation that provided him with meaningful opportunities; reinforcing the lasting impacts organisations such as New Horizons Tasmania can make.
